As Program Manager, Alexandra is responsible for managing all aspects of Bioenterprise programming, including program development and delivery, reporting, business development, client service delivery, and maintaining the Bioenterprise global network. Alexandra leads the client-facing team of project managers who provide commercialization support services to members of Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine.
In her past role as Operations Manager at a start-up food company, Alexandra was responsible for managing the entire supply chain from production to delivering the final product to the consumer. Previously, Alexandra acted as a Senior Analyst, Food & Food Systems at Bioenterprise. She provided business advisory services to start-ups and SMEs in the agri-food, food processing, and human health sectors. This was accomplished through a variety of services including: market research and competitive analysis, public funding opportunity identification, and strategic relationship development.
Alexandra holds a M.Sc. degree in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Guelph which focused on functional food product development, regulatory affairs, and health marketing. She also holds a B.Sc. in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences from the University of Guelph.
