Canadian Federation of Agriculture – CFA-FCA

Our work continues today as a farmer-funded, national umbrella organization comprising of provincial general farm organizations and national and interprovincial commodity groups. We represent producers of all commodities, who operate farms of all sizes. Through our members we represent approximately 190,000 Canadian farm families from coast to coast to coast.

Services

We develop policies and programs through a grassroots, democratic process that engages farmers in comprehensive discussions, considering policy issues from various points of view. Earning and maintaining public trust in the agriculture sector, through our words and actions, is vital to the CFA and its members.

Cider Canada

Cider Canada / Cidre Canada is a brand new Association for Cider Producers in Canada. The association will bring together cider markers and their provincial associations to develop a stronger community of producers, as well as a vibrant cider industry in Canada.

Services

Cider Canada supports emerging and scaling producers through industry advocacy, regulatory Navigation, nationalmarketing and awards programs, export readiness initiatives, quality management system development (CQA), interprovincial trade support, and sector-wide networking. We also provide mentorship pathways, grant support guidance, and access to collaborative national branding and promotion opportunities.

Meat & Poultry Ontario

CMIT is a national centre of excellence advancing innovation, workforce development, and commercialization across Canada’s meat and poultry sector. We bridge industry, academia, and government to accelerate technology adoption, strengthen supply chains, and support the next generation of processors, entrepreneurs, and product developers, Industry integration, Commercial readiness, Workforce training, Specifications, QA systems, and operational documentation, support for scaling into national supply chains

Small Scale Food Processor Association – SSFPA

SSFPA champions Canadian start-up, small, and medium size food processing businesses in all regions, including rural, urban, northern settings, and Indigenous communities. Since 2002 SSFPA has grown to be the lead provider of services and benefits for small and medium processors and growers.
