As Membership Marketing Lead, Rachel’s primary role is to develop marketing materials to align with the overall communications plan and related campaigns to increase awareness of Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine. Rachel works closely with the Membership Services Lead to support services to members of the Engine and with the Communications Team to develop marketing materials, plan events, and maintain the website.
With a Master of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences, Rachel is well equipped with experience in knowledge translation and critical research evaluation. Previously, Rachel held various positions in Science Communication with the Perimeter Institute and the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. She also helped to develop branding and social media materials for Holy Crap Cereal, Cedar Valley Selections and the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
