Bioenterprise – CENGN collaboration supports digital innovation and commercialization

Guelph/Ottawa, 29 JUNE 2021 – Bioenterprise, Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine, and CENGN, Canada’s Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks, are joining together to advance digital technology innovation and commercialization.

With Canadian society overall becoming more reliant on connectivity and digital technology, this new collaboration will help Bioenterprise harness CENGN’s technical expertise, talent and strong ecosystem of partners for the advancement of the food and agri-tech sector, a key driver of national economic growth.

The new partnership will give CENGN, an organization that delivers commercialization services to Canadian tech start-ups and scale-ups, greater access to opportunities in Canada’s burgeoning agri-food sector, an industry that is adopting digital and advanced networking technology at a rapid pace on farms and in food and agri-businesses across the country.
