AYLMER, Ontario–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#canadiancannabis—Motif Labs (“Motif”), a Licensed Producer (LP) of cannabis products in Canada and leader in cannabinoid extraction, purification, and formulation, announced several operational updates, including their new solventless terpene extraction technology, and the addition of an 8,000 sq ft. expansion by Q4 2021, increasing their total leased area to 40,000 sq ft. to pave the way for future growth.
Motif now has the ability to extract a volume of solventless, 90-95% purity terpenes that can fulfill over 300,000 vapes per month. This cements Motif as the first large scale extractor and supplier of pure cannabis derived terpenes. An unmatched extraction process, solventless terpene extraction preserves the native flavour and aromatic terpene characteristics of the cannabis plant.
The facility expansion will enable Motif to substantially increase capacity of its core operations, as well as provide necessary space to facilitate a rapidly expanding white labelling business with its partners. Following expansion, Motif will be capable of producing 300+ kilograms of distillate per month, as well as facilitating the addition of new and exciting product lines to be announced later this year.
