With the help of regional partners, we have expanded funding efforts across Canada. From Alberta to Nova Scotia, Bioenterprise offers grants for food and agriculture companies at different stages of development, from conceptualization to mass commercialization.

SmartGrowth Program

Funding for SME’s in Southern Ontario

The SmartGrowth Program provides SMEs in southern Ontario’s food and agri-technology sectors access to acceleration financing to support scale-up and expansion projects.

The goal of GreenShoots is to find and support high potential, early-stage knowledge-based Nova Scotia companies, and encourage entrepreneurial activity in the province.

AgTech Acceleration Program

Funding for sustainable early stage companies in Quebec

The Agtech Acceleration Program – Powered by Zone Agtech is looking for the best projects in the agricultural sector that are likely to have a positive impact on the environment. To qualify, these must be at a pre-seed or seed-stage and offer an innovative product or service in the Agtech and bioproducts sector. Moreover, the projects must have a Technology Readiness Level of 5 or higher.

Deep Space Food Challenge

Seeking innovative technologies to advance food in space

Bioenterprise Corporation and our partner Zone Agtech are working with the Canadian Space Agency to promote the Deep Space Food Challenge (DSFC) across Canada! This challenge is a great opportunity for Canadian innovators with food and agricultural technologies to contribute to international space efforts and Earth-based initiatives for food production and food security.
