The Canadian Agri-Food Automation & Intelligence Network (CAAIN) and the Government of Canada are pleased to host CAAIN Presents: In a World of Tariffs, What Does the Future Hold for Canadian Agri-Food? An Evening with Blois & McConnell, at the Rogers Centre, 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on February 9, 2026

Kody Blois has been the Liberal Member of Parliament for Kings—Hants since 2019, marking over six years in office. Currently, he serves as Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, appointed in June 2025. With a legal background, Blois has established himself as a staunch advocate for agriculture and rural communities, having chaired the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food and previously held the agriculture and rural economic development portfolio in 2025.

Kim McConnell has carved an equally interesting and influential body of work in the ag sector. A recipient of the Order of Canada, he is co-founder and past CEO of AdFarm, one of the largest agricultural marketing communications firms in North America.

Join these two luminaries as they engage in a frank discussion of the technology and policies needed to keep Canada atop the global agriculture sector.

Reception and informal networking to follow.

Seating is limited, and registration will close when we reach capacity. There is no charge to attend, as CAAIN believes that, in our capacity as an agtech sector hub, we must serve as a connector, bringing together stakeholders and facilitating collaboration.
