Guelph, Ontario – May 15, 2026 — Bioenterprise Canada is pleased to announce the launch of the Clean Agri-Tech Accelerator (CATA), a new program designed to support Canadian agriculture businesses advancing high-impact clean technology projects.
CATA is funded under the Agricultural Clean Technology (ACT) Program Research and Innovation Stream – Accelerator (ACT Accelerator), delivered by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), which aims to advance the development of clean technology for adoption in agriculture across Canada.
With federal support of up to $7,000,000, CATA will be led and delivered by Bioenterprise Canada, in collaboration with project partners across Canada, including SVG Ventures | THRIVE, Zone AgTech, and the Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network (CAAIN). Offering non-repayable, matching contribution funding for innovative projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve resource efficiency, and enhance sustainability, CATA will help strengthen competitiveness and contribute to Canada’s climate and economic objectives.
