As an Analyst in Food & Food Systems, Alexandra Coccari is responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to clients with innovations in the agri-food, functional food, and human health sectors. This is accomplished through a variety of business advisory services and projects including: market research and competitive analysis, public funding opportunity identification, and strategic relationship development. Alexandra is also responsible for business development activities in the food processing, natural health product and self-care product sub-sectors.
Through her experience as Bioenterprise’s Student Analyst in Food & Food Systems, Alexandra has developed, and continues to grow, a vast network in the agri-food and agriculture sectors. By providing mentorship advice to entrepreneurs, Alexandra has gained experience and knowledge regarding the links between Canadian agriculture, food, and business. During this time, Alexandra also completed independent projects on co-packing facilities, public funding opportunities, and client case studies.
Alexandra is a graduate of the M.Sc. program in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph with a focus in functional food product development, regulatory affairs, and health marketing.
