As the Analyst in Animal Health, Liam supports clients by providing technical and business knowledge to accelerate animal health technologies. This is accomplished through market research, industry competitive analysis, and strategic partnership development. Liam also assists with business development initiatives such as go-to-market strategies, and product research and development.
Liam has a thorough understanding of the North American dairy industry, as well as experience in precision farming, adoption of new production technologies, and animal husbandry. Liam has comprehensive knowledge of the scientific development and application of sensor technologies used for animal health monitoring and sustainable farming practices. Moreover, Liam provides insight into product differentiation strategies, as well as data analysis and report preparation. Prior to working with Bioenterprise, Liam worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at University of British Columbia, where he conducted research examining the use of automated activity monitors to improve dairy cow fertility.
Liam has a M.Sc. in Applied Animal Biology, and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Applied Biology, both from the University of British Columbia.
