As an Analyst in Food & Food Systems, Daniela Baranovsky is responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to clients with innovations in the agri-food, functional food, and human health sectors. This is accomplished through a variety of business advisory services and projects including: market research and competitive analysis, public funding opportunity identification, and strategic relationship development. Daniela is also responsible for business development activities in the food processing, natural health product and self-care product sub-sectors.
Daniela began her career at Bioenterprise as a Student Analyst in Agri-Food and Regulatory Affairs. During this time, she helped develop a regulatory educational toolkit with her role focusing on the food & beverage, cosmetics and natural health products sectors. Working closely with federal regulations sparked Daniela’s interest in business and regulatory strategy in the food industry. And throughout her student analyst role, Daniela developed a network of contacts in the agri-food sector and worked closely with the analyst team to provide guidance to entrepreneurs.
Daniela graduated from the University of Guelph with a M.Sc. in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences specializing in knowledge transfer, functional foods, natural health products and regulatory affairs.
