The Bioenterprise Commercialization Support Program will help companies innovate and become more competitive, launch new products/services, to drive job creation, revenue growth, and additional investment opportunities.
Through the Canada Accelerator and Incubator Program (CAIP) delivered by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP), Bioenterprise supports companies headquartered in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Companies who identify specific projects could be eligible to receive additional support to engage expert service providers.
Bioenterprise's Commercialization Support Program provides eligible enterprises with:
Coaching/mentorship and specialized business support services (e.g. market intelligence, investment preparation and access to Bioenterprise global network)
Financial assistance to engage project-based service providers for critical commercialization activities
Enterprises applying for the Bioenterprise Commercialization Support Program must:
Be headquartered in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island
Be incorporated (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island or federal)
Be able to demonstrate measurable project outcomes
Have a unique agricultural or agri-food innovation
Be able to demonstrate a benefit (directly/indirectly) to local/provincial agriculture and/or producer/processor community
Have potential to address Canadian or North American export markets
Interested agriculture, agri-food and agri-product innovative companies are invited to complete the application form.
