We work with companies at all stages, to commercialize agriculture, agri-food and agri-product innovations.
Bioenterprise Corporation is funded in part through public and private sources.
We are funded through the Canada Accelerator and Incubator Program (CAIP), delivered by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP), Innovacorp and other partners across the country; and the Canadian Agricultural Partnership (CAP), a federal-provincial- territorial initiative. Bioenterprise has also received funding from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) to deliver the Bioenterprise Seed Fund.
Agri-technology (agri-tech) is considered to be products, services or applications derived from or going into agriculture that are applied to a broad scope of industry and market opportunities. Agri-tech innovations often aim to improve input and output processes for agriculture, agri-food and agri-product industries.
Bioenterprise actively identifies and engages companies with all different types of agri-technologies.
